Shamvi is intentionally narrow. We build the few things we think really matter for a quiet five minutes, and we try to build them well.
Scenes
A small library of photographs paired with ambient sound. Pine wind, distant bells, fabric on a high pass. Play on repeat, or set a timer and let it fade.
Mixer
Layer rain, piano, and a single photograph into something that's yours. Save your favourite mixes and come back to them.
Moods
Tap how you're arriving, and Shamvi suggests a scene that tends to fit. Over time it learns your evening from your morning.
Timer
Three minutes, fifteen, forty. Shamvi fades out when you're done and doesn't shake you awake if you drift off.
Offline friendly
Scenes cache to your device after first play, so the app works on a patchy mountain connection, or a long flight home.
The library is small on purpose.
Each scene is one photograph, one recording, and one short sentence about where it came from. We'd rather add one good scene a month than a hundred forgettable ones.
Quiet tools should feel like quiet tools. No streaks to keep up. No badges to earn. No shame if you close the app.
No advertising
Shamvi will never show you ads, and it will never be supported by advertising revenue.
No data sale
We don't sell your data to anyone, and we don't share it with advertising networks.
No dark patterns
No engagement loops, no streaks, no guilt. You use the app when it helps, and not when it doesn't.
